Camp Tygart     Camp Tygart is a non-profit organization supported and operated by the United Methodist Church.   Located in Ray City, the land was given by the late Jeff D. Tygart of Nashville as a center for Valdosta District United Methodist adults, youth and children to enjoy God’s great outdoors. Camp Tygart is also the home to the South Georgia Walk to Emmaus & Chrysalis programs. 

South Georgia Walk to Emmaus     The Walk to Emmaus is an Upper Room program for the development of Christian leaders. It is a three day experience which takes a New Testament look at Christianity as a lifestyle. Open to all denominations. Learn more about the Walk to Emmaus at the Upper Room Emmaus Site.

Lectionary Readings      A lectionary reading is a book or listing that contains a collection of scripture readings for Christian worship.  The readings are prescribed each Sunday.  The United Methodist Church uses the Revised Common Lectionary readings.
